Point-of-view |
The shots listed in the "camera" column are labelled as follows. Each camera angle used in a scene has a number. If there is more than one shot from a given angle, I add a letter after the number. For example, in scene 1, there are three angles. Angle 1 is a mid shot of the doctor and Chris. 2 is a close-up of Chris, and 3 is a close-up of the doctor. Angle 1 is used twice, in shots 1a and 1b. Angles 2 and 3 are used once only.
The reasoning is that setting up a camera angle can take a long time, especially if lighting is involved. Therefore, once you've set up all the equipment, it makes sense to record every shot that uses that angle before moving on to the next one.

This scene was omitted from the final edit. The club felt that it didn't really fit with the rest of the film. It makes sense if you receive this tale in email from someone who uses email a lot, but the voiceover hasn't said anything about email so far.
