About Borehamwood Moviemakers

We are a group of amateur video-makers, based in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, England. Our aims are:

• To make enjoyable and informative short videos.
• To improve the film-making abilities and techniques of our members.
• To take part in amateur competitions and (we hope!) win some prizes.
• (Perhaps most importantly) to have fun while doing all of the above.

The club was founded in 1961 and currently has about 15 members. We have a wide range of abilities, from rank beginners through experienced amateurs to semi-professionals and ex-BBC staff.
