The Forest and The City. 1999. "You mean we've still got that to cross?" The idea for this just sort of happened one day. I was messing about with Bryce 4 just after installing it, and something came out that looked like a big forest with trails running through it, seen from a great height.
This suggested a rocky outcropping in the foreground and one or two people looking down at the forest. I wasn't sure whether they were trying to reach something beyond the forest, or whether they'd just climbed up there to admire the view. After some discussion with Breda, my girlfriend, I settled on the first alternative, because it gives more opportunities for something of a story to the picture. Comments
